Dr Terry

Terry Graduated from Massey University, NZ in 1994 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Bachelor of Philosophy (Microbiology) in 1994. He then spent the next 7 years in the Taranaki doing mixed practice with an emphasis on small animal practice. In 2000 Terry undertook a residency in emergency and critical care at the University of Melbourne and while there he attained a Masters of Veterinary Science. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in both emergency and critical care and medicine of cats. He is also a member of the International Society of Feline Medicine Academy of Feline Practitioners. After completing his residency Terry has been working as an emergency and critical care veterinarian in Melbourne for the past 18 years. During this time he has gained experience in the diagnosis and treatment of many complex and challenging cases, referral medicine and surgery and has become a very experienced ultra-sonographer.

After 20 years of emergency medicine Terry has chosen to go back to general practice for a change of pace, but he brings a wealth of clinical experience which will benefit his clients

Areas of particular interest include pain management and diagnostic imaging, including cardiology, and surgery and medicine.

Outside of work Terry is a volunteer firefighter who has been involved with some significant bushfires in Victoria over that past 21 years. Pets include 2 whippets, Max and Heidi, Ruby the eclectus parrot, Smarties a pinapple conure, Winston and Mable 2 british shorthairs, Tommy the alpaca, Margret, Barbra and Martha our 3 sheep. He also has 2 boys who keep him entertained as well. As well his beautiful wife, Katie.
