Daisy

Daisy started working at The Blackburn Vet as a veterinary nursing student in early 2024. She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and graduated at the end of 2025.

Originally from China, Daisy moved to Melbourne in 2019. Before moving here, she was involved in rescuing and caring for stray cats in her hometown, which deepened her passion for animal welfare and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary nursing. She now shares her life with three cats—Jeffery and Penny (who came with her from China), and Boo (who she adopted here in Melbourne)—plus an energetic Miniature American Shepherd named Milo. Daisy enjoys all aspects of patient care and loves learning new skills through hands-on experience in the clinic. She speaks Mandarin and English, and a little bit of Cantonese.

Outside of work, Daisy loves cooking, watching TV shows, and travelling. She is also a big fan of Melbourne’s amazing brunch scene, and can often be found exploring new cafés on the weekend. She also enjoys taking Milo to different dog parks on weekends and discovering new places together.
