Pebbles undergoes physiotherapy after 'footballers' surgery

Pebbles is a beautiful 7 year old golden American Cocker Spaniel. It was late in March when she was chasing a ball at the local park. Unfortunately the cruciate ligament, which lives in the knee of her left hind leg, couldn't take the strain - it ruptured!

This is Pebbles three weeks after having her ruptured cruciate ligament repaired. She is much happier and able to bear weight well on the leg already. She receives weekly post-operative checks so that her progress can be monitored carefully. Like the footballers that have suffered the same injury, Pebbles is also undergoing physiotherapy as part of her recovery program.
