Ink is a nine-year-old male Domestic Short-Hair cat who recently visited us with an irregular heart rhythm.
We monitored Ink's heart for 24 hours with an ECG, which details the electrical activity, and found occasional irregularities. We also arranged at ultrasound of Ink's heart, which found that one of his heart chambers was unusually enlarged.
Fortunately, we have been able to improve his heart rhythm with the use of a simple twice-per-day medication. We are pleased to report that Ink is currently well and allowing his owners to medicate him!
