Bristow's growing lump
Bristow is a 4 year old male Labradoodle who visited us with a lump that had been growing slowly in recent weeks.
When the lump was initially assessed, an aspirate of the area was taken, but unfortunately it yielded no specific information about the type of lump Bristow had. As it was increasing in size, surgery was arranged to completely remove this lump. After it was removed, it was sent to a pathologist for detailed examination.
Fortunately for Bristow, the pathologist report indicated the mass was a benign cyst, and much to the relief of all parties involved, no further action was required. We are pleased to report that life has now returned to normal for Bristow and his owner, and his wound has healed well!
