Caitlin joins our clinic in 2019 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse, having worked as a veterinary nurse since moving to Melbourne in 2016. She is excited to continue completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and work alongside the great team at The Blackburn Vet.

She loves getting back to Adelaide when she can to visit family and old friends. When not at the clinic, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her two ponies Vince and Tully, outside gardening in the sun, or working out in the gym. Caitlin cannot wait to meet you all and start helping your fur-babies!

Trainee Vet Nurse

With a lifelong dream to work in the animal industry, Katie joins our team as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse in June 2019. Katie grew up in the local surrounding suburbs and was called the 'nature girl' by her friends and family. She would also bring snails and their homes she had created to school for show and tell.  Growing up, Katie owned a wide variety of pets including mice, guinea pigs, birds, frogs, dogs and horses.

Upon finishing high school, Katie was volunteering at Blue Cross, Animal Aid and was working as a dog walker. She has a lifelong passion for animal welfare and is excited have a start in this industry. She will be commencing her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing shortly to become fully qualified.
